Our provision
We have two nursery year groups 'Acorns' and 'Oaks' depending on your child's age. We offer both term time and all year round nursery places for boys and girls from two years before they are due to start school. Both half and full day sessions are available, and there is extended care from 7.30am to 6pm. The minimum number of sessions per week is 2 full day sessions (or 4 half day sessions).
Term time
The term time provision is in line with the main school term dates, however there is usually an opportunity to add days in the school holidays subject to space. During term time each nursery class has a dedicated teacher and the children have access to all the specialist teachers for PE, Forest School, computing etc.
The following activities take place during term time on certain days which may assist you with your choices:
Monday: Forest School Tuesday: PE Wednesday: Music & Movement (additional charge) Thursday: Music & Craft Friday: Baking (Acorns) or Computing (Oaks)
All year round nursery
Our all year round provision is open Monday to Friday throughout the year, apart from:
- Bank holidays
- Approximately 10 days in the summer
- Approximately 5 days at Easter
- Approximately 5 days at Christmas
- For 1 inset day in September for staff training
