You’ll have the chance to observe lessons in progress and experience the unique atmosphere and values that shape our school. NURSERY REGISTRATION FORM

Main School Registration Form

Entry to our Nursery School

After you have visited the school, the next step is to complete the on-line Registration Form and non-refundable registration fee of £100.

Applications are accepted all year round subject to spaces being available.

Taster Session

All registered children entering nursery will be invited to a Taster Session during the term before they are due to join us. This taster session gives children the opportunity to meet with some of their peers and for you to meet our Nursery team.

Offers and Acceptance

Following the taster session, we will email to formally offer a place and confirm your Nursery session requirements. To accept a place, parents are asked to pay a deposit and sign the acceptance form confirming their agreement of the school's Terms and Conditions.

Joining Rydes Hill

We work to ensure that all children settle into life at Rydes Hill quickly. A comprehensive New Joiners’ Information pack is sent to parents, including a wealth of information about the school day, wrap around care, uniform, clubs and other extra-curricular opportunities, to name but a few.

Entry to our Pre-Prep

After you have visited the school, the next step is to complete the on-line Registration Form and non-refundable registration fee of £120.

In order to manage the volume of school applications to our main entry points, we administer registration deadlines in the Autumn term, in line with other independent schools in the Guildford area. However, we do welcome in-year or late applications to Rydes Hill, subject to the availability of places. Whether you’re relocating to the area, or wish to discuss an in-year application for your child, we are here to help with finding a school place.

Taster Session

We do not require any formal entrance assessments as part of our admissions process. Instead, all registered children are warmly invited to attend a taster session. This visit allows your child to experience a typical day in our Pre-Prep setting, meet potential classmates, and take part in lessons and activities. It also gives us the opportunity to get to know your child as an individual. As part of the process, we will contact your child’s current childcare setting or school to request a brief confidential report.

Following the taster session, we will be in touch regarding the outcome and next steps.

Offers and Acceptance

Offers for Reception are made in October and January for Year 1 & 2 applications. To accept a place, parents are asked to pay a deposit and sign the acceptance form confirming their agreement of the school's Terms and Conditions.
